Hilary arrived in Auckland on 15 December after more than 24 hours of traveling. We drove back to the Tauranga Bridge Marina via the Coromandel Peninsula where we saw huge old Kauri trees at the Waiau Kauri Grove. Here she is hugging one of the trees to show how huge it is.
